  • Chicken breast (sliced thin)
    8 ounces
  • Flour
    1/4 cup
  • Garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt
    1 teaspoon
  • Pepper
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Marsala wine
    3/4 cup
  • Half and half
    1/3 cup
  • Baby bella mushrooms, sliced thin
    8 ounces
Directions
  • 1
In a bowl, add flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix.
  • 2
Coat each piece of chicken in the flour.
  • 3
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 teaspoon olive oil. Once pan is hot, add the chicken and sear it for 4-5 minutes on each side or until nicely browned and golden. Take the chicken out of the pan and set aside.
  • 4
Add one more teaspoon of olive oil to the pan, then add your mushrooms. Cook until cooked down and nicely browned - add marsala wine and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Add half and half, mix and add chicken back to the skillet. Cook for about another 5 minutes - this will ensure chicken is cooked through. Season with a little more salt and pepper if needed. Add chopped parsley to serve.
