  • Chicken breasts
    1 pound
  • Salsa
    2 cups
  • Taco seasoning
    1/2 packet
  • Sour cream, low fat
    1/4 cup
  • Lime juice
    1/2 lime
Directions

    Place the chicken breast in the crockpot and sprinkle ½ taco seasoning bag on the chicken breast – try to evenly spread out the spices
  • 2
    Add 2 cups of salsa, ¼ cup sour cream and the juice from ½ squeezed lime to the crockpot. (We recommend using Fody salsa to make this a FODMAP friendly dish)

    Mix the ingredients in with the chicken and ensure that it’s blended, and chicken is covered

    Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 7-8 hours

    When finished cooking, use a fork and knife to gently shred. Enjoy!
