The perfect twist on a game-day appetizer. These sliders are savory and sweet with a sweet and tangy slaw!

Ingredients

Ground pork
1 pound
Whole wheat sliders
6 hamburger slider buns
Pineapple rings/slices, canned or fresh
6 rings
Low sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
2 tablespoon
Shredded red cabbage, 10 oz bag
1 bag
Apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoon
Reserved pineapple juice
3 tablespoon
Olive oil
1 teaspoon
Salt
2 teaspoon
Pepper
1 teaspoon

In a large bowl, add ground pork, scallions, soy sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper.

Form into 6 small patties – just a little bit bigger than your slider buns.

Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat and cook your pork patties until browned on both sides and cooked through and no longer pink in the center. (about 4-6 minutes on each side)

Once finished cooking, set patties aside and add your pineapple slices to the same skillet to char on both sides – about a minute on each side and remove from pan.

Add red cabbage to a large bowl and add pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt & ½ teaspoon pepper and mix until coated.

Toast your slider buns and assemble – pork patty on the bottom, pineapple ring then red cabbage to top it off!
