  • Chickpeas
    1 (15.5 oz) can
  • Olive oil
    2 tablespoon
  • Salt
    3/4 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder (for garlicky lemon chickpeas)
    1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice (for garlicky lemon chickpeas)
    1 tablespoon
  • Curry powder (for spicy curry chickpeas)
    1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne powder (for spicy curry chickpeas)

    Preheat the oven to 425º and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray.

    Drain, rinse, and pat the chickpeas dry. Place in a mixing bowl and toss with olive oil and salt. Add seasonings of choice (either lemon juice and garlic or curry powder and cayenne powder) and spread out onto the baking sheet.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes, until crispy and golden. Eat while warm, once cooled the chickpeas may lose their crispiness, but they can be toasted lightly again!
