Ingredients
3 servings
Chicken breast
12 ounces
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1 lemon
Garlic, mined
2 cloves
Honey
2 teaspoons
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Herbs de Provence
1 teaspoon
Directions
1
Put all ingredients for marinade into a large gallon plastic bag and marinate your chicken breasts for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2
Preheat your grill or pan to medium/high heat. If you’re using a grill, make sure you brush off any leftover bits from last time you grilled. If you’re using a pan, once heated add about 1 teaspoon of olive oil to the pan.
3
Add your chicken to preheated grill or pan and cover. Cook your chicken for 6-8 minutes on one side undisturbed – this will ensure you get the chicken nicely browned.
4
Flip your chicken with tongs – you only want to flip your chicken one time, so it stays juicy! Cook for another 6-8 minutes, then check your temperature. When the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, your chicken is done.
5
LET IT REST! Remove your chicken from the grill or pan, let it rest for about 10 minutes before cutting into it. This will help keep the chicken juicy.
